Microneedling, What is it?
Microneedling commonly known as collagen induction therapy (CIT), it is the process of making micro injuries on the skin to stimulate the body’s natural repair response which in turn stimulates cell turnover and collagen production, resulting in fresher, younger looking skin.
How does it work
Within our clinic we use the InnoPen device for all our needling treatments. It’s innovative precision tip allows us to accurately control the depth of the treatment while effectively eliminating risks commonly associated with handheld needling devices. This ensures your treatment is delivered safely and effectively.
What does it treat
• Acne scarring
• Fine lines
• Stretch marks
• Enlarged pores
What happens during your treatment
You will be asked to apply your numbing cream 30 – 40 minutes before your treatment starts. A serum specific to your skin concern will be applied to the face and the InnoPen device will be used across your face this may be repeated as required. Following this a cooling hyaluronic face mask is applied to soothe and hydrate the skin.
